Manchester City 4-2 Arsenal: Adebayor scores again

Emmanuel Adebayor was on target against his former club as Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the Premier League season with a 4-2 victory over Arsenal.

Robin van Persie had cancelled out City's first-half opener before Craig Bellamy restored the hosts' advantage before a record crowd at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Adebayor then headed home, 10 minutes from time, with the former Gunner racing the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the visiting Arsenal fans.

Shaun Wright-Phillips added a fourth before Tomas Rosicky, in his first Premier League game for nearly 20 months, reduced the deficit in a frantic finale.
